Year 5 who were learning about Judaism had a special visitor to tell them about how Jewish people observe Shabat. Shabbat, or the Sabbath is Judaism’s day of rest and seventh day of the week, on which Jews remember the story of how the world was created. As part of the visit the children got the opportunity to try some challah bread!
